Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of financial education in the family, work experience, peers and learning in college on the financial literacy of students of the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa. Respondents from this study amounted to 100 respondents who came from FE UST students. The method used in this study uses quantitative methods. While the data analysis methods used in this study include descriptive analysis, validity and reliability tests, and multiple regression tests with the help of the SPSS 25 program. The results of this study indicate that financial education in the family has a positive and significant effect on financial literacy, work experience has a positive effect. and significant on financial literacy, peers do not have a significant positive effect on financial literacy, and learning in college has a positive and significant effect on financial literacy.

Abstract

This research is to find out the effect of profitability and leverage on firm value with dividend policy as intervening variable in property, real estate & building construction sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2019. This type of research is clausal associative. The population used in this reseach is the property, real estate & building construction sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2019. The type of data used in this research is secondary data and data collection uses the documentation method. While the sampling in this study using purposive sampling technique. The population data of the study were 83 companies and obtained sample of 10 companies so that the research data amounted to 50. The analysis technique used multiple linear regression and sobel test. The results showed that profitability had a negative effect on dividend policy, leverage had a positive effect on dividend policy, while profitability, leverage, and dividend policy had a positive effect on firm value. Dividend policy can’t mediated between profitability and leverage on firm value.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the influence of financial literacy and demographic factors such as gender, generation year and income on student investment decisions at the Faculty of Economics Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University. Respondents to this study numbered 100 students from FE UST class of 2017 to 2020. The method used in this research uses quantitative methods. While the data analysis method used, among others descriptive analysis, validity and reliability test, and multiple regression test with the help of SPSS 20 program. The results of this study show that financial literacy has a significant positive effect on investment decisions. However, on demographic factors only the year of the force has a significant positive effect on investment decisions. While the year of force and income has no significant positive effect on investment decisions.
